Self discipline is the starting point to a more conscious and tuned in way of living

How does strengthening your thought processes, focusing on your breathing and drinking more water contribute to self discipline?

Conscious thinking will form your actions

When you start focusing on your thought processes, and you actively think stronger and more positive thoughts, your thoughts will start to become words, which will roll over into actions, which in turn will have an influence on the actions you take, which will start you off on a path of self realisation.

Deeper breathing may change your metabolism

By focusing on changing metabolism slowing shallow breathing into deep and rhythmic, endorphin releasing breathing you will find that it has an influence on your whole person. Breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Water may help you think clearer

We are more than 70% water. When we do not replenish our reserves we will experience anything from a 10% decrease in mental capabilities as a result on just 1% level of dehydration, to lethargy, apathy and general mental fog when we are 4% dehydrated.

Drink a minimum of 2litres of water from a clean water source.

For this week focus on thinking strong and positive thoughts. Not only think them but speak them. Breath deep, breath slower, and allow the oxygen to reach all parts of your body. Drink water. Replace a cup of coffee with glasses of water. Small beginnings allow for great success.
