1. Before finding me, what was your struggle? What were your biggest frustrations?
Before Steve I was unfit and unhappy with how I felt. I joined the gym 5 years ago, with my daughter to help her get fit and raise her self-esteem and in doing that found Steve and found a love of lifting weight. My biggest frustration was my love of all things sugar but with Steve’s help I am overcoming this love affair and moving onto cleaner eating.
2. How did your struggle and frustrations affect your life? What did you feel like before you made your transformation?
Being unfit affected what I could do I was out of breath easily and now as I am more physically fit I feel better inside and outside.I didn’t like the way I looked but with Steve’s help I now like myself I know I’m never going to be a size 12 but I’m okay with that.
3. How did my program help you?
By training regularly with Steve I have become really strong for my age (57), he pushes me to do more cardio within my limits and I in turn push myself to do better each week. The cleaner eating program he has put me on recently is really easy to follow and I don’t miss the sugar at all and that is really saying something.I am feeling better and have so much more energy.If I have had a stressful day at work, there is nothing better than getting into the gym with Steve and lifting some serious weight to blow out the cobwebs and get the endorphins moving. I recently injured my knee and Steve was able to design a program for me to do that would aid in my recovery and still enable me to train.
4. How is life different for you now?
I feel fitter and I know that I am certainly stronger, I have more energy and best of all I’m not hungry nor do I crave the sugar hit I once used to. Steve always mixes up his training sessions with me and so I never know what to expect and that keeps me on my toes. I really enjoy training with Steve and would highly recommend him.
