As most of you folks know, for the last 6 months I’ve been really focused on an end goal. And that was to place 1st in a bodybuilding competition.
I’ll be upfront…… there were times when I just wanted to say “Sod it, I’ve had enough.”
 
But I stuck to my game plan and produced this:

The people who have the best bodies are the people who do the basic things that you know you should do. I did the same workout for 6 months…. Not a single change

I ignored all fancy things and avoided the latest hacks and fads. Instead, I executed relentlessly on the boring, basic stuff.
Great workouts look boring.

No, you don’t have to do whatever jumpy squatty twirly thing your favourite fit-fluencer made up today just to get in shape.

Instead, get in there and sweat.

Years from now you won’t remember what you did in the gym today anyway. It won’t make a difference. What will is that you show up and put in the work. When you do that, your future self will thank you.

Imagine you go to the gym and get the best workout in ever. Then you go home and eat perfectly that day. You wake up the next morning, excited to look in the mirror only to be disappointed by what you see; no change.
