For those ‘PEEPS’ who are new to my weekly ‘FIT TIPS’ you may not be aware that, after a 10-year ‘rest period,’ I have decided to compete in the Western Australia State Bodybuilding Championship this coming Oct.

For the past 4 months, I’ve been documenting my journey. Here’s the latest photo, plus the previous 3 months:

THE STATS

Started the journey at 76 kgs. Now down to 74. Reducing body fat whilst increasing muscle. The previous body-fat percentage was at 11%. Feels around the 7% area at the moment. Hoping to reduce to 3 or 4 % come Comp day. To put that in perspective, the average man at Surge is 26%. And ladies – 33%

KEY to success is simple on paper, but challenging in reality. And that is CONSISTENCY.

Consistency in all my daily actions of sleep, nutrition, exercise, and emotions.

You simply have to ‘get shit done’ …… and more if you want to stand out from the crowd.

Daily Macros:

Are the same as previous: 400 g of Carbs. 200 g of Protein & 90 g of Fat. However, as I’m edging closer to comp day, carb intake has switched around:

Previously it was 3 days on 400g and 1 day on 200. But now it’s reversed – 3 days on 200g and 1 day on 400 – This keeps the body guessing……. Rinse and repeat!

So the goal over the next 10 weeks is to avoid any injuries….. reduce more body fat….. and fine-tune this ‘old bod’ of mine.

Thanks for reading and all the supportive messages – It means a lot to me!!
